		<description>You can&#039;t beat Eddy&#039;s obvious simplicity and you can&#039;t argue the results. I often allow myself to believe that I will someday conquer the great climbs around Briancon. I usually use the multiple climb of lesser mountains method to prepare for my fantasy escapades. 3 times up Mud Pike in Eastern PA might egual Col d Izoard or some other such calculation. On days when real life intrudes, the trainer can provide an excellent substitute. Intervals switching from max intensity at 50 to 60 rpm to ones at 70 or 80 rpm can really do the trick. Anyway, I ramble. Good luck. Also, I liked your piece on Hemingway, Keep up the good work.
